Life has been bitter sweet here. Maggie is cutting a tooth. I never wanted to be one of those moms that blame their child's bad behavior on teething, but gosh, these top teeth are a lot harder than I thought they were going to be. It has been bitter because she has been really whiney only towards me and wants to be held a lot. It has been sweet because she is transitioning from baby into toddler. She cruises so much and, it is such a delight to play with her. Disclaimer on the walking video: I should have filmed it during the day when she was happy. Sorry.

Happy Valentine's Day
I know this is a day late but I took this photo for Mike and the grand parents and I wanted them to see it as a surprise first, but. . .Happy Valentine's Day.

Growing up too fast
Maggie is growing up too fast. She is cruising around more and transitioning out of being a baby and into an interactive toddler.
She has figures out how to get to the dish washer. she likes to throw the magnets from the refrigerator into it.
She will not eat unless she is holding her own fork. We are working on self feeding with utensils.
She is getting into mischief. I am so proud of her. I am not sure if I will still be saying that in a month, but for now, I am glad she is developing a strong sense of curiosity.

Big Day in the Kitchen
One of my friends is having a baby here soon, so as part of her baby shower gift, we got together and made crock pot freezer meals. If you haven't seen this floating around pinterest yet, check it out.
http://www.sixsistersstuff.com/2012/09/slow-cooker-freezer-meals-make-8-meals.html
We made 7 meals each in two hours (would have been faster, but we cooked meatballs and made a pot pie from scratch). The meals on their website were so easy and fast to make (about 6 minutes per meal). I just wanted to post this, mainly for my sisters who are expecting this next month. We divided the recipes into two bags, one for each of us, but there are still two dinners worth of food in each bag. That's 14 dinners in two hours. Wish I could be out with you guys to make them for you. Good luck this next month.

Play Time with Maggie
I love playing with Maggie every day. Her personality is developing so much. She is turning into a funny, happy, cuddling baby. I just can't thank God enough for sending us this amazing girl.
Maggie is fascinated with mirrors and toothbrushes. She let her play in her sink probably too much, but she loves it.
Bath time is a favorite. We normally do it in the morning because she is a sweat box at night, but with her wanting to feed herself now, sometimes it happens at night also.
Maggie has such long hair. I love playing with it, though the hair ties don't last long in her hair.
